Born in 1942, Hunan, China. Graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts. Invited to lecture on Chinese Calligraphy in University of Bonn and University of Fine Arts of Hamburg, Germany. Member of the National Chinese Artist Association. Chairman of the Chinese Modern Art Society.

Works selected as Collection of National Art Musuem of China, Vienna National Musuem, Köln Museum, British Musuem. Solo Exhibition in US, Japan, UK, Canada and Hong Kong.
