Born in 1936. Singapore. Chinese Descendant of Tong An, Fujian. Grandfather is a Qing Scholar, artistic family. Student of Zhang Shuguang, and Chen Wenxi. Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Students of Zhong Sibin and Shi Xiangtoh. Member of the Equater Art Studies Association. Secretary of Singapore Chinese Calligraphy & Seal Making Association. Member of Japan Calligraphy & Wood Craving Association.
Solo Exhibiton in Singapore. Editor of The First Generation Nanyang Artists. Works published in Guan Zizai Calligraphy Collection. Works participated in Exhibitions in Beijing, Dalian, Wuxi, Xiamen, Hongkong, Seoul and Tokyo. Works as collection of Xiamen Art Musuem, Xiamen Chinese Immigrant Museum, and private collectors in Singapore, Ningbo, Beijing, US.
